Pegasus Modeler released!

Pegasus is a Subdivision Polygon Modeler built from the ground up for creating content for Poser. I have taken my years of experience in creating models for Poser and optimized Pegasus for that purpose. What this means is it works at Poser’s scale (no scaling up or down when importing or exporting), it supports creating groups without splitting the model into parts, it allows for creating material zones and groups separately, it has special display modes for grouping and material zone editing, and it has independent object display modes which are crucial when modeling using a character model as a guide. It also features low distortion, easy to setup UV unwrapping. In addition I have made Pegasus easy to learn by including a complete video tutorial.

Clothes Converter 3.2 available

I just released an update to Clothes Converter bumping the version to 3.2. What's new?

New for version 3.2:

  • Improved support for Victoria 4.
  • Minor bug fixes

If you are a registered user of Clothes Converter 3.0 you can get the update by resetting your downloads at Daz and re-downloading the file. You can install 3.2 directly over 3.0, but it doesn’t hurt to uninstall first.

Any issues with resetting or downloading, please contact Daz. For other support issues please use our support system at 3dutils.com/support.php.

If you are running and earlier version of Clothes Converter, now is a great time to upgrade (you can upgrade from any version): http://www.daz3d.com/i.x/shop/itemdetails//?item=4788

Happy converting!

Clothes Converter 3.1 now available!

I just released an update to Clothes Converter bumping the version to 3.1. What's new?

New for version 3.1:

  • Modify Groups - Modify the clothing groups to match the destination figure more closely.
  • Apply Morph Pose File to Figure

Modify groups automatically regroups the clothing to match the target figure more closely. This can help with some conforming problems. Most of the time groups between figures are close enough that this isn't necessary, but for those times when it is, you now have thos option.

Apply morph pose allows you to use Morph Pose files in CC. A morph pose file is a file that sets the values for built in morphs for characters that have their morphs in their cr2 file (like V4). V3 uses injection morph files. I’ve noticed that people are labeling morph pose files for v4 as injection files, but they aren’t since they don’t inject anything—the morphs are already in the file.

If you are a registered user of Clothes Converter 3.0 you can get the update by resetting your downloads at Daz and re-downloading the file. You can install 3.1 directly over 3.0, but it doesn’t hurt to uninstall first.

Any issues with resetting or downloading, please contact Daz. For other support issues please use our support system at www.cgauction.com/support.php (soon to move to 3dutils.com).

Happy converting!
